Servanthood

Heavenly Father, I thank You that Your love has been poured into my heart by the Holy Spirit. Because Your love resides in me, I have the ability to serve others and love them unconditionally. I recognize that being a servant is the key to promotion and receiving honor from You. I put aside selfishness and focus on meeting the needs of people. I am willing to be inconvenienced for the sake of Your Kingdom. I make myself available to serve, and I see interruptions as opportunities to serve. I pay attention to people's needs and do not see any task as beneath me. I make a commitment to cultivate a servant's heart and maintain a positive attitude in all that I do. I do not seek to take advantage of others in any way, but I look for ways to give them the advantage. Every day, I look for ways to serve and help advance the Kingdom of God and the Gospel. I allow my life and my love for people to be a demonstration of Your character. I am a servant, and I give You permission to use me. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
