Do I matter?

This is a question which disturbs most people. Have you ever asked yourself, “Why am I here?” “Do I have a purpose in life?” “Is there something more to life than this?” The disruption of your peace is because these questions are left unanswered. If you truly seek answers to these questions, you will find this book useful.

Do I matter?

Yes. You matter in God’s eyes. You are precious to Him. You may feel that you don’t matter. You may feel unwanted and undeserving. You may feel that no one loves you or no one understands you. But, you matter to God. He is interested in you. He wants you to know Him. He wants you to spend time with Him. He loves you.

Jesus says that you matter to Him. Jesus loves you. John 14:9 says, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you...” Jesus’ love for us is the replica of the love of the Father. The Son of God says in John 16:27, “...for the Father himself loves you. He loves you because you love me and have believed that I came from God.” The love of the Father and Jesus toward us is identical and unchanging.

Alas, the devil has made us believe this lie that God does not love us.

This sums it all.

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

The Father loved us, and so He gave His only Son for us.
Now the Son (Jesus) loves us so John 15:13 says: “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." Jesus not only taught us by mere words, but He gave His life for us. He proved His love for us. He is your friend. He says that there is no greater love than, you sacrificing your life for your friends.

The Father loved us - (notice the past tense for 'loved') and gave His Son. The Son loves us and gave His life and blood. And now, the Son has sent us His Holy Spirit as He says in John 16:7 "But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you." Jesus said He would send the Holy Spirit, and the Hly Spirit came to us in a mighty way on the day of Pentecost.

Today, the Holy Spirit loves us and teaches us to love, glorify and testify Jesus. John 15:26 says, '"When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me."

John 16:13-14 says, "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you."

God says that His unfailing love for you will not be shaken (Isaiah 54:10).

>God’s great love is behind the redemptive plan of salvation. Oh, what love is this that God sent His only Son to die on my behalf? Jesus paid the penalty for our sins on the cross. He died and rose again and He paid the wages of our sin – death, once and for all eternity.

My dear friend, God loves you. He sent His only Son to die for you. Jesus redeemed you by shedding His precious blood. This the greatest sacrifice of Love. If God did not spare to give you His only Son, what more could He have given you.

Believe in Jesus Christ and the words He spoke. Remember, You Matter in God's eyes.
